Meek Mill talks about keeping it real and accuses Drake of using lyrics he didn’t come up with by himself, but the MMG signee just got approached by a second rapper who claims he stole his hook for “I Got The Juice” from Dreams Worth More Than Money.
Upon the release of Meek’s sophomore album, online users suggested that the hook for the above-mentioned track pretty much resembles the one in the track “Sauce” by Detroit’s own Lil George. While we can’t deny both sound identical, it is hard to determine if he jacked the song or not.
In the meantime, another rookie whose artistic name is Machie Rei recorded a Facebook video, in which he claims Meek took the very same hook from his own track of the same title, originally uploaded on iTuneson January 7th.
“ I went and got me that Dreams Worth More Than Money,” Rei said. “I was listening to that s***. I seen the tracklist. He had a song on there, Meek Mill, you feel me, he had a song on there called ‘I Got the Juice.’ I’m finna play that song and I’m finna play my song ‘I Got the Juice’ that I dropped a while ago.”
Then Rei plays both songs and it is quite evident they share almost the exact same hook.
“ Make this n**** answer for that s***,” he adds. “That’s some f***s*** n****. I don’t f***, you’re a superstar, n****. What the f***? Why you gotta take other people? That don’t make no sense, n****. No matter how I rationalize that s***, that makes no f***in’ sense.”
Rei also offered a few words to Lil George, telling him the situation is completely different.
